Kyoto/Neuss – Kyocera Corporation (President: Goro Yamaguchi) announced today that it has developed a new line of indexable cutting tool inserts to improve cast iron machining. Made from new grades of CVD coated-carbide materials, Kyocera’s CA3 Series and chipbreaker K Series inserts offer significant improvements in machining cast iron components for automobiles, industrial machinery and many other heavy-duty applications. The new inserts address rising demand for metalworking tools that can deliver stable machining performance over a wide range of cutting conditions.

KYOCERA to introduce super alloy, aluminium, titanium and cast iron cutting tools at AMB in September

Kyoto/Neuss – The Japanese ceramics specialist Kyocera will introduce its new cutting tool solutions at this year´s AMB trade fair in Stuttgart, Germany. The innovative products include the 4JER Solid Endmill, an update for the face-milling cutter MFWN, the CA3 Series with a new CVD coated carbide grade and chipbreakers for cast iron machining. SGS, which was acquired by Kyocera in May, will join the exhibition as well as all upcoming events.

Kyoto/Neuss – The Kyocera Group’s (President: Goro Yamaguchi) subsidiary in charge of manufacturing and sales of industrial cutting tools, Kyocera Unimerco A/S (President: Senri Nagashima; herein “KUA”) announced today that it has acquired all shares of Garsdalo Medienos Technologija UAB (President: Ole Garsdal, headquarters: Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania, herein “GMT”), a manufacturer and distributor of woodworking tools. The share transfer agreement was concluded on April 27, making GMT a wholly owned subsidiary of KUA. Through this acquisition, KUA aims to strengthen its woodworking tool business currently centered in Northern Europe, and nearly double its sales in this business segment by FY2020 (April 2019 to March 2020).

Kyocera Unimerco announces joint venture with Turkish company Bilginoglu Endüstri

Partnership which aims to further strengthen market presence to start in Istanbul from April 2015
