KYOCERA LAUNCHES 10 NEW MFPS

New A3 MFPs help companies save resources

01 September 2016

KYOCERA Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, launches five new colour and five new monochrome A3 multifunctional devices that fit Kyocera’s Managed Document Services (MDS) approach.

When it comes to document management, money is wasted in several areas: printing is outsourced due to the limited capabilities of in-house printers and MFPs; toner supply is haphazard and inefficient due to not being managed properly; and many separate single-function devices are used inefficiently due to document workflows not having been optimised. Wasteful procedures such as these often pose a heavy burden on a company’s finances. Kyocera’s MDS, including the company’s new TASKalfa series, will solve these common business issues.

High-quality colour printing

With output speeds ranging from 25 ppm up to 60 ppm, Kyocera’s new TASKalfa 6052ci series offers superb colour quality thanks to their newly developed toner with a wider colour gamut and their 1,200 x 1,200 dpi print resolution, which is offered at full engine speed. For companies with even greater image quality needs, or particularly complex workflows, four of the five new colour MFPs offer an optional Fiery® print controller. To fully utilize the machines’ colour capabilities it is also possible to print on special paper sizes such as SRA3 (full-bleed edge-to-edge A3), banner paper, tab divider sheets, and paper of up to 300 gsm.

Consumables management

Kyocera’s new TASKalfa 6052ci and 6002i series feature a toner lock, preventing users from exchanging toners unless it is really time to do so. Using fleet management and service tool KYOCERA Fleet Services, Kyocera MDS sees to it that the required amount of toner is delivered when and where needed, without customers needing to call a service provider. Also, maintenance will be arranged proactively and machine adjustments can be done remotely.

Document workflow optimisation

Many office environments have not been optimised and use single-function standalone devices from different vendors – printers, scanners, MFPs, fax machines – each of them using resources and occupying space. Office workers are confronted with a variety of user interfaces, compromising their productivity. Kyocera MDS helps companies get rid of the clutter by fully optimising their document management fleet, using the functionality of the new TASKalfa series to help businesses streamline their document workflow. Full-speed scanning is guaranteed with the MFPs’ dual scan document processors of up to 270 originals, which combined with one of Kyocera’s capturing solutions will help organisations complete their digital transformation.

Small organisations – different needs

Two of Kyocera’s new MFPs, the TASKalfa 3011i and 3511i, have been designed to fulfil the needs of smaller organisations such as branch or satellite offices and small schools or institutes. These monochrome A3 MFPs offer the same user interface and security level as the TASKalfa 6052ci and 6002i series.

“As with every Kyocera MFP, it’s about offering the solution our customers really need”, says Bernhard Koll, Product Manager at KYOCERA Document Solutions Europe. “Every device in our new TASKalfa range is a flexible information-sharing hub which incorporates a vast array of cutting-edge technologies.”

The TASKalfa 2552ci/3252ci/4052ci/5052ci/6052ci and the TASKalfa 3011i/3511i/4002i/5002i/6002i will be available throughout the EMEA from September 1st.
