KYOCERA Document Solutions revolutionises A4 printing

The first A4 MFP series with the power of A3

08 February 2016

KYOCERA Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, is pleased to announce the launch of three enhanced TASKalfa A4 MFP devices. Uniquely, they come with superior paper handling and finishing capabilities normally available only on more expensive larger A3 devices. Up to 3,100 sheet paper tray capacity, double-sided printing, scanning, copying and faxing, and full finishing options make these devices unrivalled in the market. They are ideal for small to large workgroups who use a colour A3 MFP because of the functionality, yet print on A4 most of the time.

The new KYOCERA devices, the TASKalfa 406ci, 356ci and 306ci,are all about allowing end users to digitise workflows in the simplest way. They have respective print speeds of 40ppm, 35ppm and 30ppm and come with up to 1200 dpi for the best quality document output. The new devices can be configured to the needs of the department, from space-saving desktop models to five-tray floor-standing workgroup colour MFPs.

Berthold Hurtz commented, "These new devices allow users such as schools, who can have tight budgets and need the finishing options but print exclusively in A4, to get A3 functionality for the price of an A4. Our new TASKalfa MFPs allow documents to be transformed into digital files that are stored, edited and shared, but don’t compromise on superior output management. From A6 up to 1220mm banner sizes can be managed by these fully loaded products. They are ideal for customers who want reduced upfront outlay and low running costs."

Adaptable business tool

All three devices can be easily integrated into existing workflows and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any organisation. Kyocera's HyPAS apps improve security and usability easily from the control panel.

Kyocera have optimised the new A4 MFP design to give high performance in environments where document output and finishing are key. Until now, this would have meant a big investment in an A3 device. There is no compromise on security or mobile printing capability which, coupled with reduced downtime, means businesses will quickly start to see saving from investing in Kyocera devices.

All devices will be available from February 2016.
