New Kyocera A3 Black & White Multifunctions Now Even More Affordable

28 February 2014

Kyocera Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, completes its entry level range of A3 mono multifunction devices with the launch of TASKalfa 1801 and 2201. These feature-rich MFPs, with print speeds of up to 22ppm (A4), ensure customers get many of the intuitive functions normally available on higher end devices, enhancing overall workflow and performance. Advanced functionality and lower purchase price reduce impact on customers‘ bottom line, making them the best choice for busy offices looking for cost effective solutions.

Georgi Grigorov, Product Manager, Kyocera Document Solutions Europe comments, "We have focused on adding convenient features that increase productivity for our customers. For instance, colour scan is available as standard and ID Card Copy and Print Box functionality provide seamless workflow.”

The new models feature colour scanning via the TWAIN standard, scan-to- email and scan-to-folder, and streamline tasks such as copying insurance cards, drivers’ licenses, or even cheques via the ID Card Copy button. All are quick and easy ways to digitize documents and get them where they need to be, increasing efficiency all round. Both network and fax functions are available options.

Keeping documents confidential in a small office or business can be a challenge which is why both models are equipped with the Print Box function, similar to Private Print. It enables users to temporarily store documents on the user PC as a print job and easily print by pressing the 'Print Box' button on the device, enhancing security because prints are only printed when the recipient is ready to pick them up.

Kyocera have incorporated long life technology. A 150,000 page drum means fewer maintenance cycles which ensures uptime is maximised. Grigorov continues, "Our extended range of robust MFPs adopts a new engine leading to a competitive purchase price for the devices and, combined with low running costs, gives exceptional value for all office users. By accelerating workgroup productivity without compromising on environmental features these products really are a cut above the rest."

Both devices will be available across Europe from 1st of March 2014.
