Mobile printing is a necessary part of daily workflow for most people. Printing from mobile devices is no longer confined to consumer users but is now an integral part of our daily work-life. In 2013, 230 million Smart devices were shipped in Western Europe at an annual growth rate of 11%, while the number of mobile workers doubled from 2010 to 2013 and will reach 512 million by 2015 according to IDC. The demand for mobile printing solutions like EveryonePrint will grow dramatically in the coming years.

EveryonePrint easily converts all common types of documents into printable content, working like a maximum-security private cloud. End to end encryption is available to provide maximum confidentiality. ID card or PIN access ensures only the print-job owner is able to release their printout, guaranteeing personal information is kept secure at all times.

Printing can be done in five ways; via email print, web print, driver print, mobile app and Google cloud print. Printing to any printer or MFP from any device, not only in the office but even in public places such as libraries, universities or hospitals, brings a raft of benefits. Seamless printer access in public places helps today's increasingly mobile society become even more productive.

Hans Gerd Schmidt, Product Manager at Kyocera Document Solutions Europe notes, "Technology is leading to changes in the way we work, but the desire to print is not going away. A rapid increase in the use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets means more work than ever before is done on the move. End users need to have the same access to documents and print capability on mobile devices as they have on desktops. Printing isn’t in decline – it's simply going mobile."

EveryonePrint is easily installed and overcomes many of the challenges of integrating mobile printing into existing systems. Southern Denmark University had used a system that required users to install drivers on each device, which was limited by operating systems and user skills, and demanded a high level of support from their IT department. Their switch to EveryonePrint, and the simplicity it brings, means that these issues are no longer a consideration. Giving flexibility and mobility to all students is critical so EveryonePrint’s multi-language support, providing additional benefits for international students, is a real differentiator.*

EveryonePrint will be available across Europe from 1st May 2014.
