Kyocera Document Solutions Establishes New Parts Procurement and Development Company in Shenzhen, China

KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc. (President: Katsumi Komaguchi) has established a printer/MFP parts procurement and development company, KYOCERA Document Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China. The new company commenced operations on June 16, 2014.
KYOCERA Document Solutions is a global provider of document solutions for improving the workflow and efficiency of businesses. Not limited to the conventional functions of printing and photocopying, the company’s printers and multifunction products (MFPs) are deployed in a wide range of vertical markets including healthcare, education, finance and manufacturing as document management devices capable of linking to and working with cloud servers, mobile devices and dedicated network systems, etc. In order for KYOCERA Document Solutions to continue serving the increasingly sophisticated needs of the global market, it is essential that it takes the advancement of its products even further. The new company was established as part of KYOCERA Document Solutions’ efforts to strengthen its manufacturing through procurement of new high-quality components, advancement of R&D, and timely marketing of superior products.
According to President Takashi Masuda, the new company is looking forward to “expanding business with parts manufacturers based in southern China, which has a high concentration of outstanding human resources with advanced technological knowhow and skills, as well as with parts manufacturers based in Southeast Asia, and building mutually beneficial partnerships with them through technical assistance for new parts manufacturing and guidance pertaining to quality control and supply systems.”
