When dealing with sensitive information, data security is essential. Kyocera MyQ uses Print&FollowTM to protect confidential information. Users print their document as usual, but have to identify themselves at the print device in order to retrieve their print job. Print&Follow also gives users the flexibility of printing on any device connected to their server, wherever they are.

As the expression goes, the whole is more than the sum of its parts. The same is true for the output capabilities of multiple printing devices in a printing cluster. Kyocera MyQ automatically distributes print jobs to the most appropriate devices within the print cluster, based on speed and operational capability. Failsafe capabilities ensure that if one printing device in the cluster stops running, for example due to a lack of toner or paper, the print job is redistributed over the remaining devices.

Allocating printing costs can be a time-consuming task. The Kyocera MyQ software can automatically allocate print costs to specific users, cost centres, departments, customers and projects. Additionally, the printing fleet can be optimised using this information, leading to further cost reductions.
