KYOCERA MITA launches TASKalfa 300i MFP to meet the needs of demanding office workgroups
15 January 2010
KYOCERA MITA today launches the TASKalfa 300i monochrome multifunctional device. The TASKalfa 300i is designed to integrate seamlessly into any business environment and benefits from unrivalled ease-of-use and excellent functionality that will enhance productivity and improve workflow.
Seamless integration
With the launch of the TASKalfa 300i KYOCERA MITA continues to expand its new HyPAS™ open software development platform. HyPAS™ enables the TASKalfa 300i to integrate easily into bespoke workflows and provides consistency across Kyocera devices. Combining Java-based applications with open web service technology enables the TASKalfa 300i to work efficiently both with applications embedded on the device and those on external web servers. HyPAS™ dramatically simplifies the customisation of the device panel allowing the hardware to integrate into security, print policy, accounting or other company-specific document management processes.
Reiko Owada, Product manager at KYOCERA MITA Europe commented: “The TASKalfa 300i is designed to work seamlessly with an organisation‘s existing document management processes and policies. Its intuitive interface makes it instantly accessible for users, minimising the need for training and ensuring it is an asset to the organisation from day one.“
Enhanced security features
The TASKalfa 300i can be enhanced with an optional internal document finisher, or for higher volume environments a 1000 sheet external finisher may be added.
