01 July 2009 - KYOCERA has brought out four new A3 monochrome copier and multifunctional devices, the TASKalfa 180/220 and TASKalfa 181/221. The TASKalfa 180/220 models are copiers which can be extended to include a GDI print function for Windows applications, whilst the TASKalfa 181/221 are supplied with a print controller as standard. A scanner, fax and finisher can also be added if required, thus creating complete multifunctional devices. These systems with respective speeds of 18 and 22 pages (A4) per minute boast a cutting-edge, versatile range of functions and are highly cost-effective, making them the ideal choice for use in small teams. Their weekly energy consumption measured by Energy Star is up to 46 percent lower than that of previous models. |
Besides the copier and print functions supplied as standard, a scan and fax function can also be added to the TASKalfa 181/221 models and they can be networked as multifunctional devices. The TASKalfa 180/220 models, on the other hand, are primarily copiers which can be upgraded to include a GDI print function for printing at workstations.
An automatic reversing document processor may be added to all models if required. This allows 50 originals to be processed at once. Combined with the duplex unit, available as an optional extra, professional double-sided copies can be made in a single step. All devices are certified by Energy Star and have thus been verified as energy efficient appliances. Indeed, they use up to 46 percent less power per week than the previous models.
