KYOCERA MITA puts more power on the desktop with launch of two new ECOSYS mono laser printers

15 April 2010 - KYOCERA MITA today announced the launch of two new mono laser printers designed to increase the power and functionality available to desktop users. The FS-1120D and FS-1320D offer high speed and reliability with a small physical footprint, making them ideal for individual users in demanding environments.

The FS-1120D and FS-1320D print at 30ppm and 35ppm respectively and benefit from standard duplex functionality and powerful on-board CPUs, ensuring that they can easily handle even large print jobs when required. Their quiet operation and small footprint mean that they are as unobtrusive as they are effective, a key benefit for a desktop device.

The FS-1120D and FS-1320D deliver crisp high resolution output, making them ideal for everyday office applications. Their 20,000 and 50,000 page respective maximum monthly duty cycles are testament to their robust design and reliable performance.

Ognen Basarovski, Product Manager at KYOCERA MITA Europe commented: “Speed, quiet operation and reliability are key features of desktop devices, which are used more for ad hoc print jobs than their larger counterparts. These two new printers offer robust performance and flexible functionality, while also benefitting from KYOCERA’s usual low cost per page and environmentally sensitive technology.”

Long life... Low environmental impact
The FS-1120D and FS-1320D have been designed according to the ECOSYS concept and incorporate long life components. Both devices benefit from the ECOSYS low waste toner system which dramatically reduces toner waste by volume compared with conventional toner systems.

Flexible paper handling

The FS-1120D and FS-1320DN incorporate a 250-sheet paper tray as standard, which can be expanded to a maximum of 750 sheets if required (500 sheets maximum for the FS-1120D). Both models incorporate a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, enabling the use of non-standard media up to a maximum weight of 220gsm.

The FS-1120D and FS-1320D are available from KYOCERA Business Partners from mid of April on.
