The perfect solution for high print volumes: TASKalfa 550c/650c/750c

Meeting professional requirements through excellent colour quality, speed and user friendliness

01 October 2009 - KYOCERA launches three new colour MFPs for professional needs in every office where high volumes of black and white and colour output are required: the TASKalfa 550c, 650c and 750c. The high speed, excellent colour quality and user friendliness of the devices are particularly impressive. Thanks to the integrated management of ICC profiles, these multifunctionals can even fulfil the demands set by in-house printers and advertising agencies.

With a print speed of up to 75 ppm in black and white and up to 65 ppm in colour as well as consistent colour quality, the latest three members of the TASKalfa family are suited to meet the challenges posed by high volumes. The scanning speed of 77 ppm and paper capacity of up to 6,000 sheets also ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.

Professional colour quality
professional colour quality

One particularly impressive feature of the new TASKalfa 550c, 650c and 750c is the print quality. The true 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution ensures that fine lines and letters are as clear and sharp as details in images. As standard, all the devices support colour management with ICC profiles, an industry standard that allows the customer to adjust colour, thereby guaranteeing high and reliable quality. The systems can also be optionally equipped with a Fiery controller, which provides precise colour rendering that fully satisfies even the professional needs of agencies and marketing departments. The controller also guarantees high-speed data processing, which ensures optimum performance when printing high-resolution images with large data volumes.

Flexible paper handling

The new TASKalfa colour devices have excellent paper handling properties. Thanks to the high paper capacity of up to 6,000 sheets and the possibility of refilling the paper and toner during operation, even high volume print runs can be carried out smoothly and without interruptions. The devices can process paper with a weight of up to 300 g/m and a size of up to A3 plus and banner paper. Two different finishers are also available for the final processing stage, which can be used to staple or hole punch documents, or to create brochures.

Optimal user friendliness and comprehensive data security
When designing the new TASKalfa devices, user friendliness was a key aspect. Thanks to the large operation panel and the practical storable templates, printing, scanning and copying are quick and easy. These multifunctionals also satisfy the most stringent security requirements. The built-in firewall and 802.1X network authentication restrict unauthorized access to your system and your data. Additional security features include secure PDF scan-ning to control access to your scanned documents and secure transmission thanks to SSL and optional IPsec support. The new TASKalfa 550c, 650c and 750c will be available from authorised retailers from October.
