| Kyocera Solar: Manufacturing in San Diego started |

Kyoto / Neuss, 28 June 2010 – The Japanese technology corporation Kyocera, one of the leading manufacturers in the photovoltaic field, is manufacturing solar modules in California since June, to serve the U.S. market’s growing demand for clean energy. The new solar manufacturing line has an initial production target of 30 megawatts per year. Kyocera is targeting a global production capacity of one gigawatt per year, by March 2013.

Kyoto/Neuss 28 May 2010 – The Japanese technology corporation Kyocera, a leading manufacturer in the field of photovoltaics, has supplied an outdoor plant in the Czech Republic with solar modules. Covering an area of more than 28,000 m², the plant delivers an output of 1.2 megawatts peak (MWp).

| Kyoto / Neuss − The Japanese technology corporation Kyocera, one of the leading manufacturers in the field of photovoltaics, is supplying solar modules for the largest Czech outdoor plant. The total volume of the project is 4 megawatts peak (MWp) over a production area of 9 hectares. Of this, 1.6 MWp have already been connected to the grid since the end of 2009. Completion is scheduled for 2011.

Kyocera Corporation (President: Tetsuo Kuba; herein “Kyocera”) today announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with Sony Corporation and its subsidiary Sony Mobile Display Corporation (herein “SMD”) to acquire part of its Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) design and manufacturing business. The acquisition will be undertaken by means of a corporate split, where Kyocera will acquire the TFT LCD facilities of SMD located in Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, effective June 1, 2010. Existing employment contracts will be assigned to Kyocera and employees transferred on the same date.

| Kyoto/Neuss, 22 March 2010 – The Japanese technology corporation Kyocera, a pioneer in the field of fine ceramic products and a manufacturer of industrial liquid crystal displays (LCDs), is extending its touch panel line. The touch-sensitive displays are now available in sizes of up to 19 inches. Compared with film on glass systems, the new glass on glass technology achieves higher reliability and enhanced image presentation.
